Is overhead cleaning important? Why?

Overhead cleaning is an essential and important issue to address because it offers protection on several different levels.

  • In terms of employee health and safety, a clean building from the ground up is aesthetically more positive in the promotion of morale and company climate.

  • Insurance companies require safety protocols to be followed, and if a building is not in compliance with those requirements, they will eventually cancel your coverage.

  • Company image is important for anyone who spends any amount of time at your location.

  • The air quality and ventilation will be improved and meet industry standards and requirements.

  • The safety and well-being of everyone involved will be enhanced because of potential fire hazards being eliminated from the building when the combustible dust and debris are removed.

  • Your regular janitorial team will enjoy the benefits of having ceiling and high wall or window cleaning done because there will no longer be messes from dust particles on the ceiling falling down for them to clean up.

  • The lights in your building may be covered in dust and debris that cause lower levels of necessary light. Removing this layer will brighten your environment.

  • You will be a facilities manager who is protecting your employer’s investment in the industry and the community!

How often does overhead cleaning need to be done at my facility?

Every facility has unique needs, but the goal is always the same - to provide superior cleanliness and safety to all employees and clients at your location.

The exact program that will best achieve this goal for you specifically will depend on the nature of what takes place on a regular basis at your facility, as well as the standards that you must adhere to for insurance purposes based on OSHA and industry standards.

We will work with you to find the most reasonable program tailored to your individual requirements. Some buildings or areas will only need overhead cleaning once a year while others may require more maintenance over a shorter period of time.

How do I get a quote and set up a facility visit to evaluate our needs?

You can contact us any time by emailing Chris@Shinewayservices.com or calling us at 507-345-8407.

What if I already have a janitorial service in-house or outsourced?

If you already have your janitorial needs being met by another program with a different company or internally, there is no expectation that we would take over any work that is already being performed by someone else. The overhead cleaning program is a completely separate level of service that is performed by Shine Way less frequently than your standard cleaning maintenance.
